Search Engine Optimsation
Every website is created to generate new business. If the website cannot be found then it cannot fulfil that purpose. How much web traffic and potential business are you missing out on every day because you are not on the first page of Google? How often do you go to the internet to find a local service?
What is SEO and how does it work?
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a complex process. Google is the largest and most used search engine and they never reveal their ranking secrets.
Through extensive research, a list of elements in Google’s ranking system has been produced, although this is changing almost on a daily basis. As an SEO expert, I ensure all client websites are kept up to date with these ranking changes.
The core elements of SEO include content creation, mobile device and loading speed optimisation, backlink creation and more.
We also have to look at searchable keywords. As examples, they may look like ‘mortgage broker Nottingham’ or ‘estate agent in Derby’. These have to be carefully researched to provide the best ROI and result in the most leads.
One of my largest clients in a big property company. They now rank in the top 3 results on page 1 of Google for a number of terms, including ‘Local Estate Agents’ and ‘Local Mortgage Advice’.
I began work with them two years ago where their average enquiries hit 7 for the month. Two years later they are averaging 61 per month, an increase of 771%.
The image on the left represents the level of leads generated. The blue column was their level of leads before I began work on their digital marketing. The huge difference in results by year two needs no further explanation!
